Unlike some consultants we can work with your staff, showing them how to do their jobs faster, easier and better.  In over 20 years of working with computer networks we've learned what works well and what looks like a good idea but doesn't work out too well.

• Our relation to our clients is paramount.  Selling equipment or taking a commission on services undermines that relationship so we don't unless it enhances our client.
• Long term value comes from cost effective design, documentation and management. 
• Your people are best used dealing with the unexpected and business needs.  Routine tasks should be automated where ever possible 
• Clients deserve to know everything they can about their networks. Consultants who try to keep clients by keeping secrets don't deserve their clients.

Our founder, Howard Marks, has been in the personal computer industry from the very beginning.  Starting at Lifeboat Associates in 1979 he founded Networks Are Our Lives in 1981 as ProComp Systems, Inc. builder of custom single and multi-user CP/M computers.  By 1984 we changed our name to Networks Are My Life to reflect our market focus change to Novell NetWare networks.

Seeing the advantages of Microsoft's Windows operating environment early Howard literally wrote the book on making Windows run on NetWare networks (Networking Windows : Netware Edition ISBN:0672302063) and has been in the thick of networking Windows ever since.
